Bernardo Hernandez

Bernardo Hernandez is a Director of Product Management at Google, serving as Managing Director at Zagat. He is a Spanish tech entrepreneur and business angel who started some of the most successful Internet companies in Spain, such as Idealista.com, FloresFrescas.com and 11870.com. He was an early investor in Tuenti, a leading social network in Spain, where he served as President of the Board until the sale to Telefonica in the summer of 2010. He is also a Board member of bodaclick.com, which was the first Spanish Internet company to go public.

Bernardo is founder and president of StepOne, a company that helps Spanish tech companies with internationalization. Through StepOne, he launched the first computer science talent exchange program between Spain and Silicon Valley, Jóvenes con Futuro.

Bernardo graduated from ICADE, Pontifical University of Comillas, a top business school in Madrid and has a master’s in Finance from Boston College. For seven consecutive years, Bernardo has been named by El Mundo as one of the 25 most influential Spaniards in the Internet category.
